Do you ever wonder why we did something that we like or not? Do you ever wonder why we have the power to make decisions? Do you ever wonder why we think that we act because we want to? On the other hand, do you ever wonder if it was we who decide things for us? What if it was not we who decide for ourselves but the creator of all things?
Actually, I have this game I have played when I was in Senior High and this game makes me think about the questions I have said earlier. My friend recommended this game and I’m not going to tell you the name of this game since for me it was “DEMONITIZED”, what I mean about this is that, it will change your perspective about your actions in everyday life whether it is you or other entity who have the power to do this is in control.
Out of curiosity, I play this game and at my first thought, it was actually boring but I continue since the one who recommended this to me said that it is so good. So this is a first person view game and you are facing at your laptop. It is night time by the way then all of a sudden you receive a message that says “Hi can I have your time for a few minutes?” it is not exactly what it said but something close to that since I played this almost 3 years ago. You can click Yes or No but of course I click yes, then another message appear and it says “thanks, now can you look at you window?” and another yes or no, I click no and it was a game over because I thought something will pop out in the window if I click yes and then I will die. So back to square one then arrive at the same question and click yes and then I look at my window, not the real me but my avatar did it. Once I look out in my window a new message appear and it says “IS IT YOU WHO DECIDED TO CLICK YES? OR THERE IS SOMEONE WHO CONTROLS YOU?” and another yes or no and I click yes so another message, “WHAT IF EVERYTIME YOU CLICK YES, IT IS NOT YOU WHO DECIDED BUT ME?” no choices this time and another question pop out in my laptop. “WHAT IF IM THE ONE WHO DECIDED THAT YOU PLAY THIS GAME? WHAT IF IM THE ONE WHO CHOOSE YOUR ANSWER NOT YOU? WHAT IF I USE THIS GAME TO TALK AND CONNECT WITH YOU? NOW GO LOOK AT YOUR WINDOW.
My avatar look at the window and after several seconds, everything including all the backgrounds become numbers like in the matrix. The message becomes a voice and it says, “I’m the one who programed you to play this game just like how I program trees to give oxygen, fish to swim and birds to fly. I USED THIS GAME TO FREE YOU FROM YOUR OWN MIND then the backgrounds are fading. YOU ARE FREE NOW MY SON. Then after that, the game is finish but I know there are many questions in this game with the same vibes but I cannot remember it. After that I was like “MIND BLOWN and become quite for a minute, no actually about an hour answering all of that questions and wondering what if it is true. I still have the same feeling right now as I tell this story just like after finishing the game and it still sends chills to my spine.
